Return & Refund Policy – Own The Trend

At Own The Trend, we want you to love your sunnies.
In compliance with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law (Hemayet El Mostahlek), customers have the right to return or exchange any product within 14 days of receiving their order.

🔄 Returns Within Egypt

You may return your unworn sunglasses within 14 days as long as they are:

in original condition
unworn and unused
free from scratches, smudges, or damage
with all swing tags and original packaging

Refunds are issued to the original payment method:

Prepaid orders → bank transfer
Cash on Delivery (COD) orders → cash refund

Processing time: 3–5 business days, not exceeding 14 business days as per CPA regulations.

🕶️ Exchanges

You may request an exchange within 14 days of receiving your order.

If the requested style or color is unavailable, you may choose:

a different product, or
a full refund

❌ Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please notify us within 30 days with:

your order number
clear photos/videos showing the issue

We will provide a:

free replacement, or
full refund

Return shipping for defective/incorrect items is 100% free.

🚚 Return Shipping Costs

Defective/Damaged/Incorrect items → Free return shipping
Change-of-mind returns → Shipping cost covered by the customer
(This is allowed under Egyptian Consumer Protection Law)

🛡️ Warranty

All Own The Trend sunglasses come with a 3-month warranty covering manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not cover:

normal wear and tear
scratched or broken lenses
lost screws or missing pieces
snapped temples
fading or discoloration
accidental damage
deterioration from improper use/storage

📦 Packaging Check at Delivery

Customers may open the package while the courier waits to verify:

the product is correct
the product is not damaged

Trying on the sunglasses during delivery is not permitted.
